Miami House Project Returns to Cameo

Miami House Project Returns to Cameo

by CoolJunkie

This Friday night the Miami House Project once again steps foot inside the booth at Cameo nightclub. Ready to deliver yet another set at the Washington Avenue hotspot, expect to hear a lot of bumpy tech-sounds, soaring vocals and smooth basslines that creep up from your toes. What else would you expect from an electronic duo hailing from Magic City? Although they haven't reached the pinnacle of their success in the city, playing Digital Fridays at Cameo will definitely be a plus on their musical resume.

It all started off with hip-hop for DJ Paul E, but when he moved to Miami house music got ahold of him, making him switch his path from one day being a great hip-hop DJ, to one day reaching legendary status in house music. Since 2005 he's held prominent residencies at some of the city's top nightlife venues, including Rokbar, Aerobar, Club Nikki, Pawnshop, Studio A and Cameo. Pedro Henriques led a similar path, only he was actually raised in Miami, making house music a big part of his life. Once his residencies in the city started to take off, it was only a matter of time. But when these two started working with the Opium Group as the Miami House Project, things really started to take off from there.

Henriques and Paul E are now ready for their second attempt at blowing away the crowd at Cameo with their music. If you're a fan of Swedish House Mafia, then you'll definitely like what these guys have to bring into the booth. You should definitely keep your ears tuned into these guys, because we think it's only going to get bigger from here on out.
