Summer 2011 Nightlife Fashion

Summer vacations, BBQs, and pool parties are upon us. We’ve chosen not to address the issue of the constant 90-degree weather and focus more on the outfits we’ll be wearing to keep the heat off. Here’s your summer style guide for the next few summer months.

There is a profusion of naivety inspired trends walking the streets and it’s just the beginning of summer. Old-fashioned minimalism, reflective recollections, and a loose hippie sense are ways to portray this look. Hand-knitted crochets of floral palettes make a statement as well.

Divinity has its ins and outs in fashion, yet the India-influenced look is making it big this summer. Drapery and soft folds in luxurious and lightweight fabrics are used to exemplify this style.

As our generation continues to take risks in the fashion world and seek out adventure, uberground has come into style. Uberground essentially means urban styles mixed with distinct activewear. Popular colors in this style are camel, fertile green and vibrant blue.
Pastel hues can be displayed to show off the softer more laidback side of the summer. We love pastel blazers, throw them over a maxi dress during the day for a relaxed get together or a social happy hour.

Fringe, bold prints, stripes and lace are thrown into the mix and we love it. T-shirts and boyfriend tanks with fringe on the bottom are easy to find anywhere. Show your patriotism and rock red, white, and blue stripes for July 4th. Bold prints such as leopards, pandas and giraffes are the new animal prints for the season.

To finish your look off bell-bottom jeans and high-waist shorts can be paired with any of the above style.

For a fashionable summer look from head to toe, throw on an easy romper or jumpsuit.
Summer 2011 fashion trends are so diverse they can fit to anyone’s style and personality. Make sure to strut these summer 2011 fashion trends during the day and at night this summer and you’re guaranteed to turn heads.
