Opening on October 21, 2011, Amnesia Miami will be hitting the nightclub scene in South Beach. According to venue reps, it has the potential to actually change the Miami clubbing experience. Although it's a phrase we've heard many times in the past, we're more than willing to give it a shot.
Amnesia Miami is an 29,000 square foot venue designed to perfectly fit a superstar DJ with an extended DJ booth that features six moving LED walls. There are over 200 light heads that will move to the beats of the music with high ceilings and a stage that will be used by special guests, announcers, and anyone else who decides to climb up there to perform.
There are two floors to this mega club, so you're bound to have a good time no matter where you are. The best part? A 25-foot wide open dance floor! "Amnesia will create a great balance between a general admission dance enthusiast with a real dance floor -- Miami has forgotten what it's like to have a dance floor," says Alex Olmes.
There will also be 70 VIP tables around the nightclub which will be great to book when a DJ or other super star comes to the club for an appearence. Resident DJ and partner, Bob Sinclair, will be at Amnesia Miami once a month, a residency that will definitely highlight many weekends to come.
Unfortunately, October seems like years away. However, once September rolls around, you'll be hearing a lot more news coming from Amnesia Miami.
