15 East - Located off Union Square, 15 East is a rather noisy and at times crowded sushi bar. Other than prime location 15 East attracts patrons through its tasty Japanese offerings. Unlike the more traditional sushi bars, East 51 has a modern Japanese menu. The prices are expensive, but the food is good enough to warrant such prices. Sushi and Sashimi Omakases go for 55 dollars each. There’s a deal to have both for 75 dollars. If you feel like splurging and treating yourself to some fine cuisine go for the 120 dollar chef tasting. 15 East has a fine selection of premium sake. You save cash by just ordering from their selection of Japanese beers which is more extensive here than it is most other sushi bars. Cocktails are also offered like the sake yuzu which is sparkling and unique tasting.
