Aqua Matrix, Inc is a talent service company that utilizes a unique on-line casting and talent database and provides honest and creative services that will meet your needs.

What if fashion is your passion, acting is your talent, and photography or music is your calling? What and how do you pursue these dreams? WHO will discover YOU? There are many things to consider like having headshots, agents, money, luck, and time. These things can become overwhelming obstacles and may slow down your process of discovery. What if there was a way to simplify things for you? There is a way, and it’s located at 209 North 3rd Street in Old City, Philadelphia. Basically it is an on-line talent service company that consists of an extensive database, experienced professionals, and resources that can put you on the right track in acting, fashion, modeling, music, or photography.

Headquartered in New York City, with a cozy and aesthetically striking office in Philadelphia, I think anyone aspiring to work in the entertainment industries should take advantage of this resource. Once you are in the Aqua Matrix’s database, you can be viewed and be in contact with potential clients. There is an open exchange of your resume and headshot with agencies, casting directors, and folks in the entertainment industry that are thirsty for new and fresh talent. Plus you get to look at job postings, apply for opportunities, and network. They also offer what’s called Aqua Events where you attend a meeting with experienced professionals and gain an industry perspective. You can preview Aqua tools and services that showcase talent and you will receive an Aqua Card, which is a miniature CD business card that carries personalized files of photos, video, and text.

I recently met with Dexter Means, the company’s Vice-President, and Jarred Yaron, the company’s President. They seem to approach each angle within the entertainment industry with a fine mix of innovation, creativity, passion and practicality. In essence, it’s a pretty cool talent services company that helps you break into the business, while offering an honest service. Registration is free and if you don’t have headshots and a resume, you should make an appointment to meet with a representative at Aqua Matrix. If you do, than make an appointment anyway to get them posted on the database. It can’t hurt, and it seems as though they have a good success rate. Such projects that have featured Aqua talent include: Bad Boy Records, Law & Order, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Spin City, Sprite, and Time Warner.

Look for more Cooljunkie coverage in the coming months on featured models, news, and events. Aqua Matrix has hosted events in the past, using such spaces as MTV’s the Real World house. They hope to throw more parties in the future, and why not? They are helping to steer the entertainment industry in a fresh and exciting direction, someone’s got to celebrate!
