EMERALD CITY, DEEP PRODUCTIONS, AND COOLJUNKIE.COM BRING HOUSE MUSIC TO ANOTHER LEVEL WITH BAD BOY BILL ON JANUARY 28TH.
Philadelphia, PA. January 14, 2005- With a multitude of big name DJ talent coming to Philadelphia this winter, including Kaskade, Deep Dish, and Baby Anne promotion new comer Deep Productions has thrown their proverbial hat into the ring; bringing Bad Boy Bill to the city of brotherly love on January 28th at Emerald City.
Bad Boy, picked by BPM magazines as "America's no. one Favorite DJ in 2003 has become one of the most in demand DJs in the US. His sets are filled with pumping house beats that sing the praises of house music and the clubbing life. Being this is our first big event in the city, we needed a big name guy, Bad Boy Bill is about as good and as big named DJs get when it comes to house music says Deep owner Ripp Kardon. Emerald City is preparing for the event with extra lighting, sound and video equipment.
Opening for Bad Boy is rising DJ/producer Steve Smooth from Chicago as well as Philly favorites Robbie Tronco, Snug, Chris Gallagher, and Alex Adrock. This show marks the first partnership of Emerald City with Deep Productions as well as the first weekend night that Emerald will be moving away from hip-hop music. We can't be all things to all people, and we feel electronic music such as house and trance are where Emerald City can become the city's primier venue for DJs like Bad Boy Bill.
