Illinois (December 2004) – The fashion industry welcomes the biggest star power opportunity filled facet to launch in the state of Illinois…. Chicago’s Next Top Model® The Network. The Training. The Competition. The National Exposure™. Never before has there been an unwavering multi-faceted element produced in Chicago for Chicago’s seasoned fashion industry professionals, as well as it’s up and coming heavy hitters. This competition series (for male and female Models of all ethnicities, statewide; also open to some parts of Indiana, Wisconsin, and Missouri. See official rules) kicks off with the official televised Chicago’s Next Top Model® Launch Party & Fashion Show Part 1 and Part 2 - December 2004 and January 2005.

Part 1 is Saturday, December 18th at the stylish Butterfield 8, located at 713 N. Wells. This exclusive upscale fashion event of the year will open it’s doors at 9:00p.m, and donate a portion of all proceeds to SWWT (Southwest Women Working Together); a non-profit domestic violence organization. Two captivating choreographed fashion show presentations - 11:45 p.m. and 1:15 a.m., a strict Open Model Call - 9:00p.m. to 10:30p.m., complimentary give-a-ways to everyone at the venue, fine cuisine, music by Chicago’s hottest D-Jays, and the who’s who of the fashion industry, are just a few crowd-grabbing essentials of the evening.

La Chic Chicago, Chicago’s new and ONLY fashion television show will have its camera crew on location for full coverage; with selective interviews, and runway taping. The Host of this upscale t.v. show (which premieres this month, CANTV, reaching over 6 million cable viewers) is Chicago’s own international professional Model, Actress, Speaker, Fashion Designer; highly acclaimed national Entertainment Entrepreneur - Ashili Tamique, the Founder and Executive Producer of Chicago’s Next Top Model® . La Chic Chicago showcases only the best of the best top movers and shakers in the fashion industry (Fashion Designers, Boutique Owners, Models, Shoe Designers, Photographers, Makeup Artists, Hair Stylists, and more), produced by AngelWood Productions “Educating Future Fashion Icons”, to air bi-weekly on channel 19.

Unsolicited cameras will not be allowed in the building.
