Damian Lazarus Comes to the Electric Pickle

This Friday night the Electric Pickle is bringing in one of the most talented and unique artists in the world of electronic dance music, Damian Lazarus. Known for his signature blend of dark experimental tech house, his debut album, Smoke the Monster Out, highlights his style which is quite difficult for anyone to put their finger on. Utilizing random old-school audio samples, while using Björk style vocals, this album is far from what you’d expect from a name that frequents flyers during Winter Music Conference.

Opening up the night is Miami’s own Lazaro Casanova, who’s been in the lab as of late creating tracks for his label, petFood, which he co-owns with LA’s Jay-You. He also has new releases coming out on Oscar G.’s new label, Three-O-Five Digital, that’s definitely tech-house based, but infused with afro-Cuban percussion. It’ll definitely be a good party for EDM fans in the city, so we recommend checking this one out.
