Known for his former residency at the world renowned Club Space in Miami, Roland consistently & flawlessly sets the tone on the dance-floor, groovin’ you with his unique funky music stylings. Now resident of Miami’s hottest new superclub Nocturnal, he is characterized as having a unique blend of a funky, electro, deep &uplifting sound derived from a house music influence. Roland possesses an uncanny ability to read the dance floor & move the masses with his masterful versatility & calm control, whether it’s inside or out, from Mainroom to Terrace. His sets are analogous to an enchanting journey through a warped, sub-aqua passageway unconsciously stimulating the senses with occasional breaths of fresh air…
2003 marked a stepping stone to the next level for Roland. His production efforts became noticed as one half of the production duo “Speaker People” along side production partner Shawn Rudnick. Their first release during 2003’s Winter Music Conference titled “State of Mind” has received praise & attention on dance floors worldwide from the UK to the US & has been played by the likes of Deep Dish & Oscar G to name a few. Roland continues his work in the studio gearing up for his latest release collaborating with Bedrock, SAW recordings artist/producer Austin Leeds. Aside from his production efforts, Roland branded his mark across the world with the release of his new mixed compilation “The Lunar Sessions” which debuted in July 2003 across the US & made the Dance top 20 of several music stores including across the United States.
His sound has infected night clubs, radio & music festivals across the US & South America. Known for his vision & feel for the crowd, he is able to understand & play to the likes of today’s most demanding dance floors & arenas while maintaining his primary focus. Roland has proudly played along side & has received respect & praise from many of today’s electronic music giants such as Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Paul Van Dyk & many others. Much like a classic Jeckyl & Hyde story, he is a mild-mannered & humble individual who transforms into the equivalent of Mr. Hyde on the turntables. His infectious grooves & his ability to move the floor, makes him a rapidly growing favorite in clubland & beyond.
