After locking down a monthly residency at Mansion, Miami’s own golden boy, Lazaro Casanova, takes a break from his busy touring schedule to provide all the sound at Dream Nightclub this Thursday night. It’s definitely an event to attend as Casanova continues to build his repertoire of sound.
Known to many locals as the original resident of the now defunct Revolver party, Casanova is now a member of the MSTRKRFT crew, having toured with the Canadian duo as well as acts such as LA Riots and Juan Maclean. Although he’s closely linked with the electro movement, his sound is definitely evolving, adding more of house element.
Thursday night Dream welcomes Casanova for the first time. Knowing that sticking to one sound isn’t the safest bet, Casanova’s unique DJing style will be something definitely interesting to witness. Original productions like Shorts and Heels and Venganza are just a taste of what he has to offer, but don’t be surprised if he throws in a curve ball with one of his new efforts.
