Let’s think about this for one second. When we all go out to a bar, what are some of the characteristics we look for. Well, for starters how about drink prices? A good happy hour is the way to any person’s heart. Then we have location. Something in your vicinity, but that’s also located around other nightlife playgrounds…you know, just in case you have a change of heart. Then there’s the menu. More often than not, we’ll get the munchies after a few too many and need some grub to slow us down. If we were to tell you that there’s a place like this in Miami, that goes above and beyond these three characteristics, would you believe us? Well, we don’t really care if you do because you’d just be missing out. Finnigan’s On the River is the place, and it’s definitely the most underrated bar in the entire city.

We’ll start off by going into their happy hour. Everyday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can get half off of your drinks. That’s right people, that’s whatever the hell you want to drink, but take half off of the price. Not bad right? Of course not! But even you aren’t able to make it into the bar before happy hour ends, the prices here are extremely reasonable and won’t be leaving a dent in your wallet anytime soon. But what goes great with a low-priced drink? A low-priced meal. The kitchen at Finnigan’s On the River is open late, meaning that it’ll satisfy the biggest of appetites before you head over to Wendy’s and shell over $5 for a soggy burger.

The menu at Finnigan’s On the River has everything from pizza to live Maine lobster. Want some sushi? No worries, they have a full sushi bar that can serve up anything from California rolls to tuna tataki. Variety’s the key word here people, and it’s definitely one of the best aspects of this place. But what could possibly top their menu and happy hour? The location.

Located on the Miami River, you can actually pull up to Finnigan’s On the River on your boat and have a drink. The inside dining area is big, but the outside dining area and bar is immense. Did we mention they have a pool? That’s right, have a drink and cool off on weekends at their pool. It’s a hell of a party. Whether you want to watch a game, dance, have a meal, or just get plastered at the bar, we couldn’t suggest a better place in Miami than Finnigan’s On the River.
