Hey Junkies!
The season is in full swing and the end of the year is near. As this town snaps into action with parties day and night, events left and right, I am busy at work.
Last week I finally did my first ever White Party at Vizcaya. It was their 23th annual extravaganza with Cyndi Lauper as their spcial guest and some of the most fantastic guest dressed in white right down to the glitter. If you have always wondered, make it a point to go next year. It’s for a great cause and a great time! Guests dress up and get dressed up in some of the most elaborate costumes and some just keep it as simple as white bathing suits and flip flops.
Next year, take time out from yoru holiday weekend and get your tickets for White Party Week. Monies are raised for Care Reasource and if you are going to party give your money to a good cause and enjoy dancing with some of the fiercest in town. You can get more inforamtion on last week’s and future events on whiteparty.org. But for last week’s pictures at White Party, check them out here. Enjoy!

| Carmel Ophir & John Digweed at Circa 28 |
|
Another party that had guests come out in their most creative was the fifth annual 80s prom. Outreach played a killer set of classic covers and the the DJs kept it 80s all night. Now that's the way to play at a themed party.
The party was set at Circa 28, the crowd was a mix bag of downtown and newtown with all the fixins, including John Digweed who was entertained with my crazy jumping around and picture taking. And the prom punch….lets just say that it had a kick. Here are some pictures in our CJ gallery of the prom guests in their 80s attire.
Wednesday night had too many events and parties all which I wanted to be part of, but had to slice it down to two. One, the prom, I was part of the prom committee and the other was my starter party at Casa Casurina for the Jaguar XF Preview reception.
Like the cat that it’s designed after; it’s sleek, fast and has lots of muscle. A big car without the bulk, but with all the bells and whistles including a six speed automatic transmission, a 4.2L V8 S/C transmission, and a fantastic soundsystem….we gotta talk about the sound. A Bowers and Wilkins 440W Surround Sound System (in combination with a Sirius Satellite Radio). Meow… another fabulous item for my Christmas list.
For my art and design lovers, don’t forget to visit Casa Décor Miami 2007 north of Pawn Shop Club before its dissembled and taken away – last day is December 16th. This is a decorators’ paradise with colorful dreams of art, furniture and space made to inspire and entice.
