There’s something special about a great view. I’m not talking cleavage here boys; I mean more along the lines of a city skyline. In Miami, although we don’t have the skyscrapers that places like Chicago and New York City have, we do have some spots where the view just happens to leave you awestruck. A new building has opened its doors earlier this year, and offers that same kind of view that you’d get from those other cities, The Viceroy. Even the name itself seems to have a ‘royal’ feel to it, something bigger than you’d expect. That’s exactly what you get once you walk into it.

Located in Downtown Miami’s Brickell Avenue, a hotbed for some of the best residences, bars and lounges in town, the vision for The Viceroy became a reality in order present sophisticated and international travelers with exactly what the need from a stay. Seen more as a resort, it also offers luxurious residences that range from its Viceroy Kings room, 440 square feet of sumptuous aesthetics, to the two-bedroom residences, 1,400 square feet of deluxe privileges. Every single aspect about this building is the perfect example of what fine-living experience is.

But what’s a mega-hotel/condo without its own fun are correct? This is currently the best lounge in Miami, with its name saying it all, Club 50. ‘Why the name,’ you ask? That’s because it’s located 50 stories up The Viceroy, giving all visitors the ultimate lookout point in the area. During the day you can stop by and enjoy sashimi, sushi and Nuevo Latino small and raw plates with some of their signature cocktails. But once the sun dies down, it’s all about a great party atmosphere. Guests can enjoy VIP access to this Asian-inspired private pool lounge, where every Friday night the guys from ‘Off the Radar’ throw a weekly get-together. If you’ve ever been to ‘Off the Radar’ Wednesday nights at The Standard, then we recommend coming here, seeing as it’s the same great vibe and music, only with venue that you’d have to see to believe.

The Viceroy is one of those few places that you dare not visit unless there’s a special occasion. This place is meant for only the best and most extreme special occasions you can imagine.
