If you happen to be a LIV Nightclub at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, then you noticed that it didn’t open up shop last Friday night. Strange isn’t it? But just when you thought that weather could not stop a mega-club like this from opening, it did even worse.
Only months after reopening after a colossal $500 million renovation, the horrific weather that Miami’s been getting lately got the best of the resort and punched an eight-foot hole in the lobby ceiling, causing water to flood everything inside, including LIV and Blade Sushi Lounge. One guest told the Miami Herald that the entire gaping hole looked “like a waterfall, coming in from the ceiling.”
The Fontainebleau now expects the leak to be repaired later on this week, and LIV and Blade went on with their usual schedule as of last Saturday night, even though last Friday night it was ankle-deep with water.
