The Arts of Fashion Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together fashion designers, scholars, and students. They organize several educational events, including their Annual International Student Fashion Design and Accessory Competition.
There is a Master Class Series for those who would like to learn from some of the best.
Masters that will be leading the classes in Miami: Laurent Edmond & Tony Delcampe, Natalia Brilli, Hermann Fankhauser (Wendy&Jim), Thierry Rodenet & Herve Yvrenogeau (Own) and Susie Bubble & Etienne Mineur.
Classes start Monday October 30 through November 1 at MIU of Art & Design.
The Arts of Fashion Symposium & International Competition Program & events are schedule as follows:

8 pm * the Arts of Fashion Cine Toile will present "Lagerfeld Confidential" by Director Rodolphe Marconi for the opening of the Arts of Fashion Symposium at Fusman Center of The Performing Arts, 174 East Flagler Street Miami.
* Now this one is exciting (to me) because as much as we all love the man behind the sunglasses, we hardly know anything about him. This is the first time he has agreed to let someone “create an artwork on his life”. After three years of work, and over three hundred hours of footage, Marconi discloses the daily life of the living legend through his personal lens. The film is a documentary most of it in French (and all Fashion people better know how to speak it…) with an insight to his hectic life.
