Let’s face it, nowadays everyone uses a computer. At the work place, at home and even on the go, there’s always the need or want of a computer. One device that’s made life a lot easier for comp users since the early 80s is the mouse. Doesn’t really look like a rodent (which in my opinion would be a lot more fun) but it does help with the maneuverability on the screen. The evolution of the mouse has come a long way. From the first one developed by Douglas Engelbart, to the modern optical types, there’s no telling what the next step will be for the evolvement of the mouse, considering that touch-screen technology is in full-force.
Well, Cyber E Sport think that they’ve created to that next logical step with the development of the Orbita Mouse, something that looks like a cross between a cream-puff on a plate, or even a tiny little speaker. The Orbita has a dial control that works dually as a vertical as well as horizontal scroller. Scrolling is said to be a lot smoother with this gadget, but don’t be confused if you don’t see a left and right click. The Orbita’s left clicker is the button that’s smack dab in the middle, and as far as the right click goes, just squeeze on any place and angle and consider it done. This is the perfect mouse for techies that work a nine to five behind a Mac screen working on animation because it offers up a third-axis to work with.
Pros:
- Looks like you’re in the ‘new’ with this at your side.
- The amazing third axis is finally accessible! (whatever that means)
- Sleek design that will grip the hand better.
Cons:
- At $98.50, it’s kind of pricey for such a little gadget.
- If you can’t use the mouse now, chances are this one won’t work for you.
- Lets be real, who really needs this?
