So after getting home from a long day at the office, your stomach feels like a starving child that’s craving attention. But after the daunting task of preparing a meal comes the grueling task of doing the dishes. Well, lucky for us bachelor’s, designers Ami Drach and Dov Ganchrov have developed a conductive plate that brings us that much closer to the future of cooking. Instead of scrubbing away at the leftover eggs or grease from the steak, you can now just cook them both on the conductive plate. Once your done, you can grub away directly off of the plate. God’s gift to single men and college students around the globe.
Not it’s not like this completely takes away the use of your stove or oven, but it’s a significant step forward in the direction of energy conservation and your savings (seeing as your water bill might go down considerably). Not to say that your favorite dishes will come out the same by using this device, but I’d say that in a year or so, the proper adjustments will be made, turning your plate into an all out Foreman Grill. The actual specs on the conductive plate are yet to be released, but we figure this bad boy may set everyone back quite a bit, due to its technological advancement and sleek contemporary design.

Pros:
- You’ll be able to save a few bucks on the water bill.
- No more hassle scrubbing away at the pans.
- You can actually prepare your meal at the dinner table turning it into a safer hibachi table.
Cons:
- Don’t be surprised if it sets you back close to $200 for this.
- May not be able to make a meal for the family, making this only for the single and lazy.
- There’s no telling how much power it will take to get the conductive plate going.
- Might take a while for it to cool down before you can actually take a bite. If you think about it, it’s a lot like eating off of your pan.
