Inside In Style 2007

On Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th, South Florida’s fashionistas found themselves inside the pages of In Style Magazine at the annual weekend-long event, “Inside In Style,” presented by Chevy. For the third consecutive year, this outdoor event returned to South Florida and landed on the sands of 11th and Ocean. There were over 2,000 attendees ready for the sun, run and gift bags. All ticket proceeds benefited Junior League of Miami.
Guests visited the individual cabanas hosted by brands featured within the pages of In Style magazine, including Sephora, Redken, Marciano, Essie, LeSportsac and Havaianas, among others while receiving beauty makeovers, skin and hair consultations, spa treatments, mini manicures, style tips and plenty of giveaways.
There was food tasting’s from Lyon + Lyon who, may I add, do great catering work. I had the eggplant dish and chic hotdogs, both scrumptious, but the mini hamburger was by far the best. The foods were great just as they came, but sips of champagne from the Wedding booth made them just a tad bit better.
In addition, each day “Inside In Style,” (ISIS) featured a contemporary ready-to-wear fashion show, as well as a bridal fashion show, with real life, off the runway looks.
A special performance by rapper and singer Lumidee had everyone on their feet and HGTV’s David Bromstad (host of Color Splash) came by for a bit to chat to the ladies in attendance. Also if you wanted to take a break from the beauty and fashion world, (sponsor) Chevy offered everyone a complimentary scratch-and-mix DJ lessons from the Scratch DJ Academy in Miami.
