It’s amazing to know that if you just put in a little creativity to the design of something that’s commonly used, it can appeal and add even more spunk to the product. This week’s CoolJunkie Gadget Update does just that, as it’s a hard drive, but with a little more in the looks department. Think about the hard drive. It’s actually come a long way. Before it was more like carrying around an extra computer, but now they come in the smallest of sizes, and ranging in various colors as well. But why not have it resemble an object that actually gives life…an IV perhaps?
Although everyone knows that Mac’s are pretty unstoppable, it’s still not safe to say that they’re indestructible. A new concept hard drive has been created by Hynh Jin Lee that has an anti virus program and includes an IV drip bag that blinks and flashes lights when it’s in function. All you need is a Mac and a USB drive, if you have any of those left, and you’re set to go.
Pros:
- Gives your Mac a little more attitude.
- Cool factor is always a plus.
- Always good to have some sort of anti-virus protection.
Cons:
- Although the price hasn’t been released, it’s fair to say that it’ll run more than $200.
- Yet another gadget to take up USB space.
- Does a Mac really need anti-virus protection???
