We think that it’s pretty fair to say that one of the great technological advancements in entertainment have been game consoles. As years have passed the graphics have become better, the controls more user-friendly, and the consoles themselves much smaller. Remember the Game Boy, Nintendo’s portable gaming console that was released back in 1989? Slowly but surely, portable game consoles began to evolve, with games becoming better, screens larger, and picture quality at its best. Now there’s about to be yet another portable gaming console released that’s an upgrade from its previous one.
The all-new Sony PSP Go is now available for purchase, and we definitely think this one’s going to be a big seller. You’ll still have the ability to watch videos, play games, listen to music, surf the web and scan through pictures, only now the device is more compact and more advanced. The price right now is set at $249.99, which we don’t necessarily think will be a big hit amongst fans since you can now buy a PS3 for right around that price. But, you can’t carry a PS3 around with, can you?
Pros:
- Sleek new design
- 16,000 pieces of content available for PSP owner to purchase and download
- Watch movies on the go
Cons:
- Costs $250
- Not much of an upgrade from the previous version
