New Gadget Update: The Alien Lamp

Since everyone’s recently been jumping on the energy saver light bulb bandwagon, we will to. Yes, they save you money, they save you time and they’re great for the environment. But now you have to think about what goes around it. That’s right, a really dope lamp to hide the bulb because, no one really wants to have a bulb out in the open…just doesn’t look right. Well, instead of opting for the old-school lamps that you can get at any target, if you really want to indulge in a piece of art-work that can cover that bulb, try the all-new Alien Lamp.

Although the designer of this lamp swears that it’s intended to be an alien slithering down from the ceiling, it can be interpreted in other ways. Right now you can purchase the light with either a red or a silver cable. It measures 9.5” x 11” x 25.75”H. Although they don’t say how much the cost of the bulb would be for the lamp, if you’re looking to shell out $529, it really doesn’t matter how much you pay for the bulb.

Pros:
- One of a kind lamp on your ceiling.

Cons:
- $529??? For a lamp???
- It kinda’ looks like a sperm coming from your ceiling.
