Quite possibly one of the most annoying things that comes around twice a year is the effect of daylight saving time. You either get an hour extra of partying and sleep, or you lose one. That’s not really the important part. What’s really annoying is that nearly 90% of American’s never know when the hell it happens, although each and every year they make a conscious effort to tattoo it in their minds. This means that while you’re roaming around your house getting ready for work, your boss is wondering where the hell you are, since you were suppose to be there an hour ago. Well, now there’s a new clock in town that’ll make sure you never forget about daylight saving time.
Designed by Denis Guidone, and eventually will be produced by NAVA, is the Ora Ilegale Clock, a wooden clock shaped with three sides, two flat, and one rounded. This means that when daylight saving time comes around, instead of manually having to go through the trouble of resetting your clock, or trusting some satellite with your work schedule, all you have to do is simply lean the clock on its other flat side, either giving or taking away an hour of the day.
Pros:
- Easily adjustable.
- Sleek contemporary design.
- Shape reminds you of daylight savings time.
Cons:
- Clock isn’t numbered, which will probably lead to mistakes.
- Only comes in two colors.
- There’s no telling how much they’ll charge for this one.
