If there’s one man that’s given us solid stomach-cramping laughs for the past few years, it has to be Seth MacFarlane. The guy created ‘Family Guy’...‘Family Guy!’ There hasn’t been such creative writing that’s been executed for every single episode of a cartoon since The Simpsons. Although it’s mostly liked by college stoners and a niche audience that actually keeps up with pop-culture today, there isn’t an example of writing on cable today that seems to push the boundaries, other than South Park, of course. But now, it seems that if Family Guy keeps up the pace, they may very well be taking over their status as the reigning syndicated cartoon. But just when we all thought that the writing limit couldn’t be pushed even further into censorship, MacFarlane releases an all-new series of animated comedy shorts titled as ‘Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy.’
On May 12th the never-before-seen episodes will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray, featuring 50 shorts on hilarious pop culture parodies of Jesus Christ, Bob Dylan, Ted Nugent, Quentin Tarantino, Super Mario, Jeff Goldblum and even Bob Marley. These may be a bit familiar to you if you happened to have caught them on YouTube, but now they’re completely unedited and uncensored. We’re definitely looking forward to this one.
