Summer / Spring Ted Baker is here!

With a slew of fashion houses and clothing companies rushing to get the public the newest and freshest merchandise, random fashion shows, galas and trunk peeks are bound to be around every corner.

And to start the celebrations, enter Ted Baker!

To host this dashing fete is the recent addition to S.Beach’s nightlife, State nightclub (next to Rumi). Along with the Ted Baker sponsorship were the Michele Pommier Model Management Agency and Toni and Guy Hair Products and specialist.

All sponsors worked together with amazing talent to produce one of the best runway shows performed at a nightclub in quite a while.

Although the entrance to this event was chock full of South Beach door drama, CoolJunkie's fashionista plus entourage were pleasantly scuttled through the velvet ropes past the ever fuming Ted Baker VIP's waiting to be guest listed in.

The scene outside reminded me of the Latin Grammy after party guest list depoccle when I found myself waiting on the wrong side of the ropes along with part of the Black Eyed Peas music talent!

Although managers and PR reps were called, Fire Marshall laws kept all those of us whom did arrive fashionably late out! Aiy!

Thanks to the lovely Aurie Stein, producer-coordinator of the show, the front door was AbFab along with the entire staging for Ted Baker. The shows press and VIP’s were seated past the interior velvet ropes onto the lux, red, plush chairs surrounding the catwalk.

Like any good fashion show, there was a delay of about one half an hour (to be expected). This was definitely to the guest’s advantage as wonderful strolling Smirnoff cocktail servers were giving out the newest sensations in the Twisted lager drink family.

Mandarin is definitely this fashionistas crisp and twisted choice.

After the meeting, mingling and networking frenzy, all guests were called in for the commencement of the show.

A spectacular series of spring/summer flirty a-line skirts with matching camis and jackets all found in an array of fresh peaches, lemons, teals and watermelons.

Beautifully cut flirty dresses and casual career ensembles accompanied the rest of the line. The males strutted their finest casual suits and seperates, but with the Ted Baker color twists of Easter pinks, mints and yellows with coordinated T’s.

Following were the swim pieces in terry and cotton blends with matching wraps and mini beach shorts- very cute.

The two definitive stand out show stoppers was first the white d-ring belted trench with huge accented cargo and zipper pockets at a wonderful 3/4 length and second the masterfully cut-to-fit white hot matching pantsuit with a fabulous up do perfected by the Toni and Guy team!

Of course all the hair was placed perfectly in that loose, but chic St. Tropez style Miami is so hot for. Bravo to the whole cast and crew!

As the models cattled for the last run through of the evening, the crowd was immersed in the fashion, jumped onto the red carpet and partied like it was 1999!

In my opinion, the only way to celebrate.

And oh yes, the much awaited goody bags were pray tell filled with Toni and Guy, the only flavored Smirnoff lip balm (a collectable), Ted Baker signature key chains and lolli’s plus the chicest little condom package to date.

My my, all the necessities for an evening out. Someone get Prince!
