It’s 4 am on a Sunday night and you and your entourage are filing out of Nikki Beach after another legendary evening of drinks, dancing and debauchery under the stars. Instead of the usual afterhours alternatives of ordering breakfast at News Café or burgers and sweet potato fries at Big Pink, there’s a new afterhours alternative hitting the streets of South Florida that’s cooling off party-goers faster than an intermittent rain shower. Feverish Ice Cream is the brainchild of Felecia Hatcher, a 26 year old entrepreneur with a love for ice cream. With her passion for popsicles and a drive to recreate the nostalgic ice cream truck of her childhood, she created Feverish Ice Cream, an eco-friendly mobile party on wheels serving up healthy popsicles in unique flavors while blasting the latest indie music in true South Beach style.
Feverish Ice Cream is more than just an ice cream truck; it’s an experience that leaves patrons feeling as happy as the moment they spied the cool, tricked out trucks cruising down Collins or Washington Avenue. With a wide range of popsicles on the menu, there’s sure to be a flavor for everyone in your posse. For the health nut, there are vegan-friendly popsicles and for the adventuresome member of your crew there are wild flavors such as; Sweet Potato Pie, Mexican Paletas and Japanese Mochi Balls
So the next time you’re stumbling out of one of Miami’s hottest spots and you need a quick boost of sweetness to sober you up before the trek back home, be sure to keep an eye out of Feverish Ice Cream. You can’t miss them; they’re the coolest kids on the block!
