The lobby at the SJFW

One of the most interesting things about the San Juan Fashion Week, apart from the fashion shows is the overwhelming amount of people that gather at the lobby of the Wyndham El San Juan Hotel and Casino. Everyone is wearing and looking their best during the three days of pure fashion essence.

Also, the lobby of the hotel becomes a huge dancefloor in which the best San Juan deejays spin the best in house music. This year, deejays like Gulembo, Shaggy, X-Man and John "Ender" Rios were among the ones that made everyone dance till the early morning.

Since the fashion show tickets are very exclusive and hard to get, during this three day festivity, all of San Juan nightlife and celebrities come over to the lobby to party and watch the shows on huge projection screens.

For those with more connections, there is also a VIP party that always goes on at the Tropicoro Room of the hotel, with full complimentary cocktail stations. Also, the Casino is right on the lobby for those that desire to "lay it on the table".

The next gathering for this bi-annual event will be on September, so start getting your wardrobes ready because in the San Juan Fashion Week, dressing your best is the norm!!!
