Above: Rag*Trade rules at the shop…
Most of you are familiar with the thrift shopping and giving your clothes away to thrift store as well. But at Rag*Trade: Happy Clothing Co. here in Miami, they buy your clothes from you while you shop for more threads. And they have a great collection of fantastic thrift finds and new pieces by local artist.
This week Natalie of Neutral Clutter stopped by with some of her amazing totes. Apparently her totes are amazing with mixed fabrics, colors and well stitched pieces. But the hot seller is her headbands.
Marcus Blake, Red Medusa, Miss Brache Swimwear, G.O.A., Secret Secret, Tiny Meat are some of the labels found at the shop.
The place can be a little more pricy, but the time you save with driving around from store to store, searching, pulling and finding something okay will be well worth it. And don’t forget you can also trade in your finds.
Tuesday through Friday 12 pm to 7 pm, Saturday 1 pm to 6 pm and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Gentleman, don’t think I forgot you. Shop for your special lady and get her romantic undergarments with a touch of sophistication. At Bella Bella Boutique, you can shop from home and have it wrapped up and ready for any occasion. Get her a garter set, a nice corset, hosiery or teddies, throw in a Kama Sutra Set, the Erotic Lounge CD, and a beautiful David Yurman ring and both of you will have an unforgettable night.
But ladies, you can treat yourself to all this and more. This Miami based site brings them all to you with low shipping and fast service. They carry a sexy favorite Sensualle (Brazilian) who make thongs for the daring.
Take a look at their site and happy shopping: bellabellaboutique.com
I hate those ballet shoes with a passion. I prefer a nice flat like the Old Navy paten thong sandal in black or yellow. For $19.50 you can throw them in your hand bag and when you get tired of your heels, throw these on and you still look amazing.
Or if you are living life to the max, the beautiful paten T-strap thong sandal by Manolo Blahnik is by far the best. From the two colors available I love the black. Exclusively online on Neiman Marcus and you can have them for $575.00.
Shoes, you can never have enough.
And rounding up our weekly fashion tidbits, there is a wonderful accessory sale at Oyuki (919 Collins Ave. – suite 3). From Friday May 18th through Wednesday May 23rd take 30% off all full-priced accessories in the store including bags & shawls plus an extra 10% off on all already reduced merchandise. Now you can’t tell me you didn’t find something to wear for this weekends outing!
Happy shopping!
This week in fashionable events:
On going is the Tuesday night Model Casting Party at Catalina Hotel (1756 Collins Ave.)
by Page 3. It starts at 10 pm and all models have open bar from 10 pm to 11 pm with book or comp cards. They request casual-hot attire because your picture will be taken for just having been there and you never know who will see it. Play pool, listen to music and just enjoy the beautiful and fashionable people.
I mention art events because they are as much as a fashion event as one be. Artistic people love to march to their own beat and the fashions are usually creative with unique designers.
First, this Thursday is Jam at MAM, a monthly mixer where the eccentric meet the unusual. $10 for non-members gets you in to the museum to view the latest exhibit, snack on dumplings, rolls and other bites, there is a donation bar, coffee bar and live music. The event starts at 5 pm and goes on until 8:30 at night.

Great location with excellent boutiques, galleries, restaurants and coffee shops, so there is something to do before or after the event.
