What’s going on my dearest fashionistas?

It’s officially Summer time and a bag around your arm can complete the look during your strolls around town. Bag ladies may know it but this collection is new to me. Now lets move on to beauty. You all are beautiful but lets talk about how some of us need help to get there. The weather is disgusting so the best look is not the glistening frizz I’ve been sporting lately, but a well controlled mane with dry skin.

Well, to make that happen, I’ve started using a highly sophisticated item to keep my skin cool. A fan. Yes honey, the fan has saved me from unstoppable sweat attacks and for a mere few bucks, you can keep cool waving a stylish fan instead of the flyer you picked up at an event. You can pick a sandalwood, fabric or paper fan at an Oriental Market in Miami’s 163rd Street, east of the 95. From $2 to $10 you will find some great pieces to place in your bags.

With hair, I’ve been using Redken Products I was lucky enough to pick up at the In Style event this past Spring. I’m really happy with the results and usually I don’t notice. But this week, I noticed the difference. I like to wear my hair curly and the Crystal Curls 06 makes this hair of mine curl up and shine. Then to finish it off, I use a dab of Outshine 01 to control the crazy frizz. I look like I just walked out of the salon. I don’t know about my clothes that day, but my hair looked fierce. But hair care goes beyond products. Like a great dentist, when you find one you love, stick with them. A hair stylist is the same. Samy, the hair diva of Miami, has opened a new salon on Lincoln Road where you can get pampered while you get a style and wax if you desire. Prices are reasonable and the space is airy. Bring your laptop if you have to wait and jump on the WiFi.

Saturday there is a Binki Fashion Show by Bikini Kiss and hosted by Miss Howard Stern. Being a fan, I expect her to be really drunk before she walks in, but he body is pretty hot so at least the fashions will look good. 21+

Oyuki, a shoppers dream boutique now in Miami will be opening up their store next week. Details to follow, as I get them, I give them.

Just in time when we need a little help with controlling the frizz, the John Frieda Collection® Announces The Frizz-Ease® Beat The Heat Tour will be making a stop at Nikki Beach on Friday July 20th and Saturday 21st 2007 from 12 pm to 5 pm.
