I’ve been neglecting you. I know. But I am back with information that you should not miss.

This week in fashionable events:

Calling all models, photographers, agencies, hairstylists, stylists, makeup artists, spas, personal trainers, schools, etc….Saturday August 4th from 11 am to 4 pm at the Continental Hotel on South Beach (1825 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL), there will be a networking event for those already involved in the fashion industry or those who are just starting out.

Some of the current sponsors are MetLife, Caroline Gleason Management, Next Model Management, the Green Agency, Musceology, Front Model Management, and several others.

Macy’s on South Beach reopens its doors after their massive make over. On Saturday August 4th, lets all go shopping!

While you are out there, check out make sure you head over to Lincoln Road where most of the commercial stores are having up to 70% off most of their items. It’s that time to make room for the new fall wear, so help them clear up the racks.

Future events:

On August 22nd, 2007, Miami Fashion Weekly goes to a beautiful gloss. In celebrations of the new change, they have their weekly event at Karu & Y for Luxe Wednesdays with a show.

Knitwear designer Karelle Levy of KRELwear will present 30 looks from her highly acclaimed Fall 2007 "Little Red in the Hood" Collection of Ready to Wear fashion show during Miami Fashion Weekly's Magazine Launch Event. This exclusive collection makes KRELwear's first Fall 2007 fashion show appearance in Miami since presenting last November of 2006.

Also on Wednesday August 22nd, Saks Fifth Avenue in the Bal Harbour Shops (on the third floor) host a networking event with Fall Fashions by Lafayette 148 and Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collections with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. This fantastic event is from 6 to 8 pm and all you need to do is RSVP to 305.539.2929.

Continuing August 22, Wednesday, Morgan Miller host an in store event from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. In a dedication to Soles4souls Charity, customers who generously donate one pair of "lightly worn" shoes receive 20% off all merchandise, and those donating two pairs enjoy a 30% discount.

The boutique will be serving champagne and light hors d'oeuvres as guests view new merchandise and create their own custom-designed shoes. No RSVP required, just show up.
