What’s going on my dearest fashionistas?

SJP ad for her new perfume Covet, has everyone talking. Like it or not, they are talking. But great news, there will be a Sex And The City movie. Yey.

Now on to the fashion events. Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the FTV Studio for a mixer.

The FTV Studio on Lincoln is now open for fashion and video shoots. It’s over 4000 sq ft of shooting space designed for the creation of video clips for Fashion TV Paris. Fashion TV is seen by 300 million people worldwide.

The place has daylight fluorescents, video lighting, kitchen, a DJ System, live shoot LCDs, afternoon light and more. Check their site for more info at: ftvstudio.com.

This week in fashionable events:

Jam at MAM has more than guest being fashionable. There is a Spring/Summer Runway Show by Carmelita Couture. Plus, this is the best Happy Hour around. You get a museum entrance, the happy hour mixer on the courtyard with a donation bar, Starbucks coffee if you don’t do the hard stuff, hors d’ oeuvres, live music and usually something special – like this months fashion show.

It’s the third Thursday of every month, this month is August 16. Starts at 5 pm till 8:30 pm. MAM members are free, but if you are not, you pay $10 and that is nothing for all you get.

Every Wednesday from 6 pm till closing, come out and dress up for a fantastic Happy Hour at The Biltmore Bar out by the pool area. There are half priced drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres, plus VIP Raffle and fashions from Neiman Marcus Coral Gables. Hosted by “trend tracker” Tara Gilani. No cover, just sit and enjoy.
