I know I am late on this nor surf but I love me some swells.. Last week I was in Deerfield Beach meeting a friend and I couldn't believe how huge they were, I love to watch the waves when they are that nice especially down here in shit for waves area. My friend said that night before the tide went up all the way to the pavilion and that one wave went right over the pier and soaked everyone. 8) Best swells I ever bodysurfed on were still in the Bahamas but these last week looked a bit too big to bodysurf.
