Sucks to hear that, JMT. That's exactly how I ended up switching. Spilled a glass of Coke into a Thinkpad.

Barbarino, Leopard is awesome. I don't see much of a reason to wait for it to switch though, it's mostly incremental improvements. The upgrade from Tiger to Leopard is totally smooth and there's no need to avoid it. That's one of the reasons why Macs are so cool.
