I know a lot of guys working the ropes in town, and most of them are assholes at the door for a reason. Imagine if you will, that on multiple nights a week you're dealing with:


- People who can't handle their booze

- Drug addicts

- Self-important nimrods

- The "I know so-and-so" crowd

- Outright criminals

- Ugly girls who offer 'favors' to get in

- The wonderful fake ID crowd

- Guestlisters who show up at 1 AM when the list closed at midnight

- Other garden-variety morons

You'd be pissy too.

Clubs aren't reality, they're an escape from it, and you're dealing with people who sometimes cannot differentiate between the two.

Not to point fingers, but 95 percent of the time, the problem is with the customer and not the employee in the case of club door problems.
