BPL is a hack at best.

Our future is in fiber. The best AT & T can manage right now is FTTN (Fiber to the Node/Neighborhood)...that's a step in the right direction.

Satellite internet is largely a last resort if you can't get anything else. The latency and the FAP policies will kill you otherwise.

AT & T just needs to follow Verizon's lead, and start deploying full fiber in their territories. Tear up the copper if you have to and sell it for scrap to help finance the fiber rollout.
