Pick up a travel guide and see what it tells you about London in the last five years. Have you ever been there?
There is tons of ethnic and fusion food in London. Expensive and cheap restaurants, very much like New York.
If you're discussing ENGLISH food, I am not going to argue, it can be perceived as bland but in terms of restaurants and what you can eat and drink gourmet and non-gourmet, London is very renowned.
