*DJ BOXX *

Dj Boxx - Chi-Town Born and Raised...It was early on that a feeling of Soul completion was experienced upon listening to early disco, R&B and dance music from the 70's that is still the driving force within. Dj'ing came naturally...it seemed as the appropriate thing to do. By 13 the turntables and mixer were sitting in the basement being played daily. Play all day...play all nite....was not a problem....by 16 I was playing consistently in local area establishments, basements and high schools. By 18, I was a featured Dj in the now infamous Galaxy Disco along with Julian Jumpin Perez. Soon after guest spots on Chicago's biggest radio stations WGCI and WBMX. I stepped away from Dj'ing from 89 to 2000. Business and personal things played a role of course, I was not playing but I kept a close eye and ear and finger on the pulse of the industry. Over the years I have had the opportunity to share the decks with: Bad Boy Bill, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Craig Loftis, Mike Dunn, Wayne Williams, Andre Hatchett, Greg Gray, Mike Dunn, Jamie 326, Frankie Hollywood Rodriguez, Derrick Brown, Dj Shannon, Corona, Boolumaster, Celeste Alexander, Hector Lopez, Reese Urban, Hugo, Fast Eddie, Terry Hunter, Chris Underwood, Gene Hunt, Dj Emanuel, Craig Alexander, Alan King, Fast Eddie, Mickey Oliver, Ralphi Rosario, Dj Anton, Dj Jermaine and many others... I've played the the WMC for the last 3 yrs. at various clubs in Miami and at the official WMC hotels representing Chicago.

I have produced music for Sophisticado Records the remix of Atlantic Star Send For Me was widely accepted in the House Music Community

*CEDRIC GERVAIS BIO:*
It is an uncommon occurrence in the Electronic Dance Music scene to find an artist sensationally talented as both a DJ and a producer. Cedric Gervais is of the rare breed whose talents behind the decks translate over into the production room. For years he has captivated clubbers and partygoers as he reigned supreme over the Miami dance scene. Although originally born in Marseilles, Cedric Gervais has chosen Miami as his adopted home, and the city has been more than happy to embrace him. He has held residencies at Crobar (now Cameo) and the world famous Nikki Beach, before taking over the Space Terrace. Cedric&#8217;s presence at the Space Terrace was felt immediately as people in the thousands began lining up to witness him devastate the after-hours scene. Despite being in such heavy demand, Cedric still found time to take his talents into the studio. His first single with Ultra Records, &#8220;Burning&#8221; was a great success on both the charts and the underground circuit. Soon after, he unleashed his debut album &#8220;The Experiment&#8221;, which featured the massive hit, &#8220;Spirit in My Life&#8221;. The album took him to a different level as he spent the next couple of years touring the world, entertaining and thrilling his many fans. His production credits include working with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, and Rachel Star, just to name a few. Whilst maintaining a hectic tour schedule, Cedric has managed to both continue his residency at Space and spend plenty of time in the production room. His latest single, &#8220;Mauri&#8217;s Dream&#8221;, was Pete Tong&#8217;s Essential Tune of the Week three weeks in a row, and has received great critical acclaim from both DJs and producers. Many consider it to be one of the best, if not the best song revealed at the 2009 Winter Music Conference. It will be hard for any producer to top &#8220;Mauri&#8217;s Dream&#8221;, but tantalizingly enough, Cedric has expressed that &#8220;Mauri&#8217;s Dream&#8221; is just the beginning of what should be a string of smash hit releases. Currently, Cedric is working on his highly anticipated second album, &#8220;Miamication&#8221;; which is scheduled for release later this summer. He is working closely with Sharam (of Deep Dish fame) and the duo already had a monster record together, entitled, &#8220;U Don&#8217;t Even Know Us&#8221;, under the moniker, Sharvais. Cedric has also just relaunched his two record labels, Sleaze Records and SleazeTech. Having undergone major makeovers, the two labels are ready to take the Electronic Dance Music world by storm. Sleaze Records will specialize in house music and SleazeTech will focus on Techno and Minimal. Both labels are set to begin a heavy release schedule with the first set of releases coming in the end of April. With a host of new talent signed to the two labels, it is only a matter of time before Cedric propels them both to the top. Very few have managed to enjoy the kind of success Cedric Gervais has worked hard to achieve in such a short span of time. The scary, yet enthralling aspect about Cedric&#8217;s career is that it has yet to reach it peak. Although it would be cliché to say the future is bright for this young star, it is nevertheless true. No one can be sure what is in store for Cedric, but what can be certain is his impact will be one that will be felt for generations to come.

About Cedric Gervais:

Cedric’s presence at the Space Terrace was felt immediately as people in the thousands began lining up to witness him devastate the after-hours scene. Despite being in such heavy demand, Cedric still found time to take his talents into the studio. His first single with Ultra Records, “Burning” was a great success on both the charts and the underground circuit. Soon after, he unleashed his debut album “The Experiment”, which featured the massive hit, “Spirit in My Life”. His latest single, “Mauri’s Dream”, was Pete Tong’s Essential Tune of the Week three weeks in a row, and has received great critical acclaim from both DJs and producers. Many consider it to be one of the best, if not the best song revealed at the 2009 Winter Music Conference. It will be hard for any producer to top “Mauri’s Dream”, but tantalizingly enough, Cedric has expressed that “Mauri’s Dream” is just the beginning of what should be a string of smash hit releases. Currently, Cedric is working on his highly anticipated second album, “Miamication”; which is scheduled for release later this summer. He is working closely with Sharam (of Deep Dish fame) and the duo already had a monster record together, entitled, “U Don’t Even Know Us”, under the moniker, Sharvais. The scary, yet enthralling aspect about Cedric’s career is that it has yet to reach it peak. Although it would be cliché to say the future is bright for this young star, it is nevertheless true. No one can be sure what is in store for Cedric, but what can be certain is his impact will be one that will be felt for generations to come.

About Steve Lawler:

Forward thinking, groundbreaking, precedent setting: not just the true essence of progression, but an apt way to begin a biography on the world renowned DJ/producer Steve Lawler. That’s progression, not to be mistaken with the term progressive, music Steve Lawler’s often been associated with. Lawler is much more than a progressive house DJ. A child of the acid house generation, he’s been busy with the beats long before genres were but a twinkle in clubland’s eye.

An electronic artist who defies generic boundaries, ever since his days organising the infamous motorway raves under the M42, Lawler’s set his own agenda, following his natural musical instinct behind the decks and in the studio. 2008 has been the best example of this; after 17 years of hard graft, more people are beginning to take note of Lawler than ever.

One glance at his recent releases suggests as much. ‘21st Century Ketchup’ on Ali Dubfire’s much lauded Sci+Tec was a run away success at the 2008 Miami Winter Music Conference, ‘Femme Fatale’ on Josh Wink’s legendary Ovum was one of the summer’s heaviest hitters. And they’re just a small sample of what’s fast becoming one seriously prolific pie with releases on Tsuba, Drumcode, Systematic, Tanzbar, Boxersport, MBF and R&S all primed and focussed squarely on the dancefloor. ‘Horses For Courses’, released on Renaissance in 2007, is a fine example of Steve’s recent work; a dark rumbling romp, (it’s about as progressive as jelly and ice cream). His tracks with Audiofly and Dino Lenny as SLAAF and SLADLY are a similar affair with discerning acclaim coming from the dancefloor, DJs and music press alike.

VIVA Music, Steve’s label, has been key to this progression. His days heading the much-missed Harlem Records have paid priceless experience; Steve knew exactly what he wanted from VIVA from the off. Embracing the power of digital distribution and forming strong links with the MP3 powerhouse Beatport, he’s in the previously unheard-of position to only sign a track if he “thinks it’s the bollocks”. Those are his very words – focussed and passionate about his music, he doesn’t even care if it sells. Luckily it does sell, with each release receiving heavy patronage by techno luminaries such as Laurent Garnier and Carl Craig.

With VIVA came responsibilities such as promotion and adept A&R, both of which he’s excelled at; his VIVA launch nights at Pure Pacha will go down in the venue’s illustrious history, his VIVA tour has taken him across every continent and every festival worth knowing. As for A&R, just ask artists like Simon Baker, Audiofly, Presslaboys, Bearweasal and Livio & Roby and they’ll tell you all about the support, encouragement and opportunities Lawler has given them.

VIVA works as a culmination of everything that’s gone before; from the aforementioned illegal raves, to his residency at super club Cream or the Ibizan schooling where he famously played eight hour sets at Café Mambo seven days a week. He’s remixed high profile artists such as Jamelia, Dido and Justin Timberlake and worked with world renowned dance imprints Global Underground, Renaissance and Bedrock. He’s released some of the scene’s most collectable mix series such as the ‘Dark Drums’ ‘Lights Out’ and, most recently, the ‘VIVA’ series. Now on its second release, the ‘VIVA’ series has revealed Steve’s widescreen vision better than any mix before with down tempo and deep house playing a big part in the beat blend. Needless to say, the tours supporting such releases have taken him to every corner of the globe from New York to New Zealand.

Heralded as King Of Space by Ibizan locals, fans and industry peers Steve held a triumphant residency for seven years at the Balearic super club (a club he returned to in 2008). His Viva Harlem Nights events, be they at The End or on tour, consistently sell out and his residency at London’s Home Club was one of the infamous venue’s only success stories. He’s even been headhunted by horror film director Iain Softly to make the theme tune to the 2005 movie Skeleton Key.

Yes, Steve's seen it all and experienced everything club culture can throw at him, from mistaken identity to scary stalkers... He's even been held at knifepoint in a dark alley behind a Mexican club for not playing a request! It's these years of hard sonic graft, however, that have fine-tuned his understanding of electronic music and its relationship with the dancefloor.

Now, armed with his experience and understanding of the intricacies of dance music and the drama that lies within, Steve enters the most exciting stage of his career. No longer seen as just a progressive DJ, he’s the happiest he’s ever been, both as a DJ and in the studio, working more prolifically and diligently than ever before. The summer is spent jet setting around the world’s finest clubs from Watergate to Womb, performing to thousands of revellers at every party, while the winter sees him retire to the studio making the music he wants to make. Not what people expect of him.

Dynamic, driven and drastically obsessed with performing as well as he possibly can. Steve’s passion for house, techno and electronica is too strong for one simple generic association, and right now his message is louder than ever. 17 years deep and Steve Lawler isn’t just at the top of his game, he’s pushing the boundaries of what a DJ can do – both technically and creatively – as an artist and as a successful label businessman. Now that’s progression.

About Jimmy Hall:

It was back in 1995 Jimmy first fell under the DJ’ing spell. Two years later and he’s picking up gigs all over his home town of Birmingham. It was here he first started getting a reputation for playing the perfect soundtrack to any night. The following Summer, Jimmy jets out to Ibiza where he lands himself a residency at the Kaos Café. Renowned for its infamous after parties and hedonistic party atmosphere, Jimmy would often play all night, and then go back to do an eight hour set at the after party. “I learnt how to properly DJ that Summer. I played more than I slept and just had the best time!” says Jimmy. Whilst in Ibiza Jimmy played at some of the most prestigious clubs on the island including Es Paradis, El Divino, Café Mambo and many more. On his return to the UK that autumn, Jimmy’s diary went nuclear. Guest spots at Republica, Golden, Gods Kitchen, Ultra Vegas, Promise and Sundissential to name a few followed. He became resident at Golden and Republica and shows across the globe started to trickle in. Fast forward to NYE 2000. Jimmy headlines Circus X in Brisbane, Australia. The boy from Birmingham has come a long way in a short time and before the year is out he will have played on nearly every continent Times were changing though… As trance and hard house began to swamp clubland, Jimmy took a step back. “I never really got the hard house thing so found myself playing the warm up sets at my residencies which I looked forward to. I got a chance to play with grooves at around 125bpm. Techy, tribal and proggy stuff. It made me realize that music had to move me before I could move a floor with it. It totally changed the way I set about DJ’ing. You won’t believe how many hard house and trance DJ’s told me how much they loved what I was playing. That was a big compliment.” Since then Jimmy has gone from strength to strength. He now holds two monthly residencies in Germany. “Smaller clubs that are really into what I do which is cool.” He is also a regular guest at arguably the biggest club brabd in the world right now Gods Kitchen. And so to 2005. Jimmy sees the New Year in and plays closing set at Gods Kitchen Birmingham after Eric Morillo. In March his debut track ‘Acid Rock’ is released on Steve Lawlers Harlem Records to critical acclaim and gets hammered everywhere. In June the simply massive ‘Totally Porno’ is released on the same label and receives airplay on every dance show that matters as well as getting hammered by the likes of DannyTenaglia, Deep Dish, Sasha, and of course Lawler. “A massive unadulterated chunk of dancefloor filth from the Brummie boy wonder…” is how DMC describe it! Jimmy was also an original member of the Punkrok collective who rocked floors at Pacha London, Turnmills and Gods Kitchen as well as releasing 2 tracks on the respected Toolroom. Jimmy himself was responsible for the massive Punkrok remix of the Bizarre Inc classic ‘Playing With Knives’ and the remix for the title track of the New Order album ‘Sirens’. Now solo, Jimmy has signed to the highly respected 24 Management as an artist, joining the likes of Max Graham, King Unique and Paolo Modjo to name a few, Jimmy is set to launch his own label ‘Authorised Propaganda’ before the end of the year. Look out for the debut single by Jimmy ‘The Good Shit’. Massive is probably the only word needed to describe this track. It’s been a huge year for Jimmy studio wise as every DJ worth his salt has switched on to his sound, now it’s your turn!!!

<br />
About Steve Lawler:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
And they’re just a small sample of what’s fast becoming one seriously prolific pie with releases on Tsuba, Drumcode, Systematic, Tanzbar, Boxersport, MBF and R&amp;S all primed and focussed squarely on the dancefloor. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
With VIVA came responsibilities such as promotion and adept A&amp;R, both of which he’s excelled at; his VIVA launch nights at Pure Pacha will go down in the venue’s illustrious history, his VIVA tour has taken him across every continent and every festival worth knowing. As for A&amp;R, just ask artists like Simon Baker, Audiofly, Presslaboys, Bearweasal and Livio &amp; Roby and they’ll tell you all about the support, encouragement and opportunities Lawler has given them. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now that’s progression.<br />
<br />
About Jimmy Hall:<br />
<br />
<br />
About Boris:

The rich heritage of New York nightlife is focused on the figure of the resident DJ: The homegrown jock that puts down roots in a single venue, bonds with its crowd, and explores the limits of a DJ set with his faithful. The DJs who flourish in this demanding environment go on to become folk heroes, not only in New York, but all over the world (see Larry Levan, Danny Tenaglia, Junior Vasquez).

DJ Boris started his ascension to these ranks in 2004, when the native of St. Petersburg, Russia took up residence at New York super club Crobar. It was the culmination of years of workhorse gigging at almost every club across the Big Apple. But it was more than that too: It was a movement that has shown no signs of fading.

Boris (birth name: Boris Inzhin) started moonlighting as a DJ while taking classes at the Institute Of Audio Research in New York. With a metronomic mixing ability and a penchant for expansive, groove-based power-house music, the jock quickly found work both in DJ and production booths, playing at clubs like Exit, and Roxy, and remixing artists like Janet Jackson, Jewel and Gloria Estefan. In 2002, his mix of Pink’s “Get This Party Started” hit No.1 on the Billboard Hot Club Play chart.

His relentless approach to bring his cult of followers the best sound and experience possible has taken his production to even greater heights. Powerhouse industry labels like *69 Records, and Stereo Productions have wasted no time in signing Boris projects to their labels. Dancefloor missiles like "Automatic," "Everybody Tweakin'," "Lights Go Out," and Lisa Pure's "Movin On" have been embraced by a culture of beat aficionados, in and out of the many clubs DJ Boris has grown to call home.

And if home is where your heart is then Boris must be endowed with a heart the size of North America. His movement has rewarded him with residencies in every major city. Now a regular on the city’s club circuit, the name of Boris started to become associated with unapologetically massive music: big drums, big riffs, huge build-ups and lots of energy. Propelled by the promise of a great party experience and by a growing affection for the approachable DJ and his humble manner, his crowd swelled. By the time Boris debuted at mega club Crobar in May 2004, his faithful numbered in the thousands, united under a spontaneously created banner: “Believe in Boris.” Boys stamped it on their T-shirts in masking tape, girls Sharpied it on their flesh, and eventually Crobar flashed it on their video screens: A battle cry for a clubber’s revolution.

While at Crobar, Boris set the 30,000-square-foot club’s attendance record (a swinging-from-the-rafters 5,400), released his first mixed compilation (aptly titled “Believe”), and started to gig regularly outside of NYC, in markets like Miami, and Las Vegas. In 2006, when it became apparent that Crobar would close, Boris uprooted and moved his crowd 20 blocks north to Pacha New York, the first North American branch of the fabled European club brand, without missing a beat. He is still a Pacha resident.

Boris’ faithful service to the clubbers of New York has been rewarded with two Club World Award “Best Resident DJ” nominations (one while at Crobar, and one while at Pacha), a DJ Times cover story, a top 5 finish in the national America’s Best DJ fan poll, and a new residency at super club Space in Miami. Add this to the already accomplished residencies he holds at Rise in Boston, Therapy in Rhode Island, as well as his regular appearances at Ruby Skye in San Francisco, 960 in Connecticut, Deko Lounge in New Jersey. He’s also become one of the reigning kings of Winter Music Conference week, throwing massive pool parties by day and after-hours marathons by night for thousands of fans. The spoils of success have not halted his enthusiastic work ethic either. His ongoing pursuit to creatively, and musically express himself to those who adore him, has no doubtedly outgrown our own country's limited borders. With his global campaign as New York's premiere DJ underway, believers can be found from all corners of the planet. Venezuala, Colombia, Marrakech, Barcelona, Madrid, Ibizia, London, Montreal, Mexico, and Toronto have all been blessed with his energetically extreme beat orchestration. Boris and his team are currently planning the release of his fourth mixed compilation, and a series of European, and South American dates to compliment his tremendous ability in the studio.

*MARCO V. BIO:*
If you were to define the term ‘dance music purist’, you’d take into consideration a number of factors... knowledge, passion and substance. Combine them together and you get Marco V. Like many of the world’s superstar DJs Marco was born and bred in Holland. He is a modest and down to earth family man with an undying lust for music. Entrenched in the scene from an early age, it was clear right from the start which path Marco would take.

The rest as they say is dance music history, but a history that Marco has not only shaped but continues to re-define with every thought out move. Few DJs have done more than Marco V to draw new talent into the dance music vortex. Whilst inspiring new producers, he has also been described as the DJ’s DJ with many of his colleagues closing following what he does both in the studio and behind the decks – this is testament to his impeccable taste, and unrivalled talent.

To stay ahead to the game you have to adapt as trends change, and Marco is the master at this. On the decks he holds complete control of the crowd with a style that is impossible to put into words, incorporating anything from fierce electro to driving techno and beyond. Travel the globe and you’ll be hard pushed find a major club that hasn’t felt his force.

His studio has belted out more anthems than a national football team. From classics like ‘Indicator’, ‘Simulated’ and ‘Godd’ through to present day floorfillers such as ‘Second Bite’, ‘More Than A Life Away’ and ‘Red Blue Purple’ and his reverential and massively successful updates of classics such as ‘Café Del Mar’ and ‘Loops & Tings Relooped’ leaving his discography the envy of most.

His passion and perfectionism shine through in everything he does. His Combi:Nations mix series has been a huge critical and commercial success, giving listeners at home the entire spectrum of Marco’s sound, from intimate backroom floors to the Dutch techmachine in full effect on the dancefloor. His artist album 200V was a similar smash spawning yet more dance floor destroyers and catapulting him onto the Radio 1 playlist. 2008 sees the 3rd artist album and several brand new singles from Marco and it goes without saying – all combined, they’ll form another accolade for the V mantelpiece!

Genius, pioneer, legend - throw all these glowing tributes his way and Marco will just shrug them off with an unassuming smile. These are words used regularly when his name is mentioned but this doesn’t lead him to arrogance. Some people are born with music running through their veins and Marco V is one of them – A musical chameleon whose musical fire burns on and on. Year in year out – it feels like the story of Marco V has only just begun!

<b>MARCO V. BIO:</b><br />
Entrenched in the scene from an early age, it was clear right from the start which path Marco would take.<br />
<br />
The rest as they say is dance music history, but a history that Marco has not only shaped but continues to re-define with every thought out move. Few DJs have done more than Marco V to draw new talent into the dance music vortex. Whilst inspiring new producers, he has also been described as the DJ’s DJ with many of his colleagues closing following what he does both in the studio and behind the decks – this is testament to his impeccable taste, and unrivalled talent.<br />
<br />
To stay ahead to the game you have to adapt as trends change, and Marco is the master at this. On the decks he holds complete control of the crowd with a style that is impossible to put into words, incorporating anything from fierce electro to driving techno and beyond. Travel the globe and you’ll be hard pushed find a major club that hasn’t felt his force.<br />
<br />
His studio has belted out more anthems than a national football team. From classics like ‘Indicator’, ‘Simulated’ and ‘Godd’ through to present day floorfillers such as ‘Second Bite’, ‘More Than A Life Away’ and ‘Red Blue Purple’ and his reverential and massively successful updates of classics such as ‘Café Del Mar’ and ‘Loops &amp; Tings Relooped’ leaving his discography the envy of most.<br />
<br />
2008 sees the 3rd artist album and several brand new singles from Marco and it goes without saying – all combined, they’ll form another accolade for the V mantelpiece!<br />
<br />
Year in year out – it feels like the story of Marco V has only just begun!<br />

*ABOVE & BEYOND BIO:*
Above & Beyond is a trance music group formed in 2000. The group is famous for remixes and their own productions. The group’s tracks are regularly played by well-known DJs, such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. They are also known under other aliases, like Tranquility Base, OceanLab, Dirt Devils and Rollerball.

Jono Grant and Paavo Siljamäki met at Westminster University, and they set up the Anjunabeats label in the summer 1999 with the release of the “Anjunabeats Volume 1”. The song received the immediate attention of various dance clubs, and quickly gained support from Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk.

Above & Beyond came together in 2000 when producer Tony McGuinness called in Jono and Paavo to help him complete the Chakra remix while he was still working at Warners. The inspiration for name Above & Beyond came from a web page belonging to an American motivational trainer called Jono Grant which was stuck on the wall of the studio. Although they were unknown at the time, the Above & Beyond remix of Chakra ‘Home’ was picked over remixes by Rob Searle and Tilt to be the A side mix, and after plays on Pete Tong reached number one in the UK club charts.

In 2006 they released a full artist album called “Tri-state”, defined by DJMAG as a” big progress for the trance genre “, it features collaborations with the likes of Zoe Johnston, Richard Bedford and Andy Moor, known for his work with Tilt and as half of Leama & Moor. The first single from the album, “Air For Life” (featuring Andy Moor), was released in July ‘05. New single “Alone Tonight” was released in November ‘05.

Their show, TRANCE AROUND THE WORLD can be listened on Digitally Imported Radio.

About Pete Tong:

As a DJ, Pete has graced the decks of the best clubs and festivals worldwide. As a producer he has assembled the music for movie soundtracks such as The Beach, Human Traffic and 24 Hour Party People and has produced his own material under various guises. As an innovator, Pete has taken the world of Podcasts by storm and taking the #1 spot in the music podcasts download chart with the 'Tongcast'. Pete has also produced the world's first collection of TV-style music shows, aired weekly direct to mobile phones. And as an icon, Tong was the inspiration behind the film "It's All Gone Pete Tong". Pete will undertake his forth season of 'Pure Pacha', Friday nights @ Pacha Ibiza this summer. 'Pure Pacha' combines musical quality and glamour, with aspiration and escapism. 'A 'wonderland' for grown ups who don't want to grow up just yet.....!' as Pete likes to put it. The success of his residency in Ibiza will now see Pete bring his own blend of Ibizan glamour to London for a new residency at the Ministry Of Sound. Last year saw Pete get into the studio and finally fulfil his dream of making his own music. He has recent collaborated with Chris Cox, James Talk, Paul Harris & Jay P and has an ambition to produce an artist and compose a film score in the future. Pete's success as a broadcaster, clubland DJ and music industry tastemaker is his ability to create a balance between credibility and commerciality and it not afraid to drop the hits on the decks. "People forget it's entertainment," Pete explains. "I wouldn't be doing this if I couldn't champion new music, but a mix is the key. And it's supposed to be fun." The dance market has changed a lot since Pete started, but one thing remains the same, people still want to go out and have a good time. "People love music, make no mistake about that, whether and how they buy it right now is one thing, but people still want to party...it's our job to come up with new parties, new nights, new venues, new themes to keep the scene fresh and exciting." says Tong. In the meantime, the ever-active Pete still sees his vocation as he did when he started out, playing other people's records to get an audience dancing. "We need to constantly remember why people want to come to clubs - which is simply to have a great time and feel the music." With Tong behind the decks, there's little worry of failure on that score.
