![]() MaddHatter Promote Group presents: REVIVAL!! DUBTRIBE SOUNDSYSTEM LIVE!!!! Saturday Decemeber 5th, 2009 **3 HOUR LIVE SET, & EXCLUSIVE SOUTHEAST BOOKING!!!** Join us for a very special night, after almost a 5 year sabbatical, Dubtribe Soundsystem returns for an inspirational and educational night of house music at the Revival! There is no other act that can create such an unstoppable and infectious energy for your spirit as well as your mind other than Dubtribe Sound System. Since 1991 Moonbeam and Sunshine along with sit-in percussionists from all over the world have come together in an attempt to incite change, restore faith and have a party at the same time. Together in various forms they have traveled all across North America (from San Francisco to New york city, toronto to miami, Atlanta to San Diego and all points in between,) Across the Pacific (Hawaii, New Years 1999-2000) and various hops across the Atlantic (Paris 1999, Netherlands 1995, 2001, UK 2002, UK-Spain-Germany 2003.) continually spreading their positve vibe infused, tribal and rythmic signature sound. Dubtribe Sound System is a live act that performs their music live and on the fly. Sunshine (the male,) makes the music. Moonbeam (the female,) executes the mix, the effects, and sings like an angel. Moonbeam and Sunshine have worked at a creative partnership for well over a decade and have found that while some prefer a formula, they are constantly pushing themselves, and re-inventing the sound that has become not only the DSS experience, but also the sound of imperial DUB recordings and influenced modern electronic music in general. There are no set positions, or rules. They do not imagine themselves as anything other than lovers of music, and the indescribable high that comes from dancing to the sound of your heart, your inner fire, your unexpressed thoughts and feeling that peel off your head like the skin of an onion while you practice a little more disco kung foo. w/ Live Percussion Provided By: ![]() MJ of Household + Michaelangelo of Aerial2012 & Bellcurve Opening DJ: ![]() COREY VON WATERS **3 HOUR SET** (Household Management, Evil Empire, Maddhatter Promote Group, Abstract Logic Recordings, Technikly Funk'd // Atlanta, GA) Ages: 18+ Doors: 9pm-3am Price: Limited $15 / $20 Advance Lighting: We will be bringing in a 5 watt, full color, water cooled, white light laser with bounce mirrors that will ignite the main room of the loft.
