DENVER -- Residents of the Mile High City have voted to legalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana for adults.

Bottom line - it's overdue to legalize it!!!

Well they don't call it 'THE MILE HIGH CITY' for nothing...

These voters are smart. So many millions of dollars go's towards combating the trafficing of Pot when theyy should be spending that same money combating the trafficing of harder drugs..

I moved here from Ann Arbor....where for 25 years it was only a $5 fine if you got caught with this substance (under a half ounce I believe) and you could only get one ticket a day, so you could actually (if you were really stupid) get a ticket and then smoke a fatty in front of the police station and they couldn't do anything about it....except call the state cops and you would be arrested...LOL

A few years back, they raised the amount to $25...still really cheap...LOL
