Not really that surprising.

1-Price of gas is insane. O'Reilly is hammering this every night to start the show and he is right. These oil companies are hurting the country and what they are doing is wrong. I am all for a free market but there is collusion going on whether we can prove it or not.

2-Iraq is a thorn in our his side. There seems to be no end to the conflict and the general population doesnt understand that war is ugly and often long.

3-Immigration is a huge issue right now(it should have always been a priority). We need to enforce the rules of our country. Letting a bunch of illegals walk across the border every hour of every day is not OK. There are approximately 12 million illegals here now. What are we going to do with them?

All over TV everyone is calling for the oil companies to lower their profit margins. How come I haven't heard anyone asking the government to lower theirs? Depending on where you live in Florida, your gas tax can be as much as 53 cents per gallon. In other words, when the price of gas was $1.50, over one-third of that went to Uncle Sam. If they would suspend gas taxes for a while, we would see immediate and significant relief at the pump, but nobody's asking the government to do without...only the corporations.

I mean, is it necessary for the government to pull shit like this at times like this? Click the links...right here in Florida.

The last headline is especially amusing. "High pump prices could mean gas tax increase" Shouldn't there be a decrease???? An increase on top of what's already happening?? Fuckin' politicians...yet, blame it on Bush.
