im an old fart compared to most of u here. born in '78 so i grew up on stuff like

2. atari (the one u connected to the coleco on the side)

10. Teddy Ruxpin (it was my sisters but i loved that demonic toy lol )
11. toy train sets.. (loved em......)
12. Lite Brites (my mom just loved the pointy lights all over the floor everywhere
13. my recordplayer that i used to listen to my disney storybooks (small book u read along with as the record read it.. great way to learn to read

then of course still to this day i still play

NES,SNES,Genesis (mostly emulators now)/Sega Dreamcast, Xbox and Gamecube

Ya know, just the other day I saw a VH1 special titled, "I Love Toys". It was great to watch! Brought back so many memories!

The show pretty much counts down the top 100 toys of all time.

my teddy bear that i slept with till i was 8 years old

"ITO" didnt know english at all till i was 5 or so all i spoke was spanish but i couldnt pronounce osito so called him ito

i still have him and i will give it to my son/daughter the day they are born just like it was given to me...

the bear was even bigger than i was .. im gonna dig out the pic and scan it and post it lol

I had a pretty extensive GI Joe collection too, about 86 action figures, 3 bases and a tone of ships. Unfortunately I went through a piro phase in middle school ended torching most them, lit my attic floor on fire too

my brother and I were huge lego brats!

Other than that I climbed trees and swam in creeks and played make believe. Went on bike rides and hikes in the woods and sledding when it snowed. Played in tire swings and picked flowers.
