The SanDisk with the most space is only 4GB for $200. For that i pay a little more and get the 30GB iPod. How does it make more sense?

Good in theory.

Don't get me wrong, the iPods are good devices, but Apple needs to stop acting like they invented the concept of portable media players.

My media player of choice acts like a portable hard drive that happens to play media. No special software or music store required to utilize.
