| Funny I was just thinking about the interview with Sadam Hussien right before the beginning of the Iraqi War where he had challanged George Bush to a debate for all the world to see and all George Bush could say in response to the invitation was. "I have nothing to say to him'...

| I think that bowing out of the debate could have been done more respectfully. Not just "no comment". That is cowardly and disrespectful. I also agree with Terry, intellectual arguments don't hurt. But all of our presidents are a little proud for this, and I am sure that it has some thing to do with the grass root states, if you were to show "weakness" by intellectually engaging your opponent. Remember anything intellectual is seen as a weakness in those states unless you preferece it with... its the American way. Both parties are guilty of this, but the Rep. and Conservative Democ. are more guilty then anyone of this.

| Disrespectful? Geeez....I guess if Charles Manson challenged Bush to a debate he'd have to treat him with respect too, otherwise, he'd be a coward. Saddam deserved about as much respect as the gum on my shoe.

| Bush is by far wose then Charles Manson as far as I am concerned. Manson was psychotic Bush is not. Bush knows damn well what he is doing and has killed more innocent lives then Charles. So yes. My Argument stands.
