farewell to a true american sports icon. all NFL fans owe gratitude to this man for the league they enjoy today. one of the pioneering AFL owners. he was instrumental in merging the 2 leagues into one. he created the name "superbowl". he brought back the 2 point conversion. he was loved and respected by peers and players alike. he was innovative yet not overbearing like some of the owners of today. its for good reason that AFC trophy bears his name.

RIP. every NFL game should have a moment of silence this week.
