They make a valid point though. There's fewer and fewer housing options for lower-income people.

These people look like no income at all to me. ;D I understand your point though... this housing shit is getting way out of hand. This Umoja village crap is fucked up though... why don't they buy some big military field tents that can house like 30 people. That and some cots could do the job. Someone could throw in a generator and those bums could live like kings. Heck marines live like that for weeks at a time in the field.

I suppose because the residents would have to approve something like that.

[/quote]Dude you really have no idea don't you TP?

You should know by now that the military doesn't have any tents to sell.

They use multiple layers of tents to place over each other in Iraq. The defense dept thinks that more layers of tents will provide better protection from artillery, bullets etc than one tent will.

Yeah I keep forgetting that I'm living in a twilight zone of insanity.... where a yellow cake could lead to the death of nearly a million innocent people.

Typical Democratic welfare people, that is utter bullshit. If you can't afford to live somewhere, then you need to move. I know people in the heart of fort lauderdale who have apts that they pay 500 a month, how much lower does it have to be to be "affordable?"

You can move to Georgia and live like a god for nothing, you can move to north Florida etc. There are options, but they are not willing to make sacrifices instead they want hand outs and stay in an expensive area. It's like me saying I'm pissed because I can't afford to live on Star Island. If I can't afford to live some where, I move to some place where I can afford it. It's not like Miami has all the great jobs, these people are losers.
