| Non Sufficit Orbis | Registered members do not see ads. Register or logon for a better view. Is this the norm? http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/16639076.htm I don't know, spending that kind of money on what is supposed to be a solemn religious experience seems kind of out of hand.

| CoolJunkie | I don't know. I guess if we had any rich jews on here, they might be able to answer. In my opinion, a person's religion is their own business. As long as they do not interfere with another's, it is none of my business how they feel they need to glorify god. You want to spend that kind of money? That is between you and your own higher power. Not my place to judge.

| Non Sufficit Orbis | Oh ok. ;D But would you agree with spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on performers and celebs? I have a sneaking suspicion that this is just a case of each person trying to outdo the other, with a religious celebration as an excuse.

| well..you supposed to have a theme for your bar or bat mitzvah but yes...its the way rich jewish families try to outdo each other...and since its a religious thing ..you can write it off as one as well...you know for the taxman |
