ok so i get home to enjoy my hdtv. fine i have an hdtv box.

hdtv seems to be very limited first off u have to go to channel 200 something and not even USA network or SPIKE is in HDTV i believe ok whatver

I SEE 6 CABLES GOING BEHIND MY TV

THE CABLE BOX IS HDTV BUT ITS USING COMPONENT CABLES

WTFFFFFFFF. I CALL THEM I SAY UMM I HAVE A NEW TV WITH HDMI INPUTS AND THIS RECIEVER DOESNT HAVE HDMI CONNECTIONS WTF

so they go well THATS A SPECIAL REQUEST AND WE DONT SUPPLY THE CABLES

so i just went to target to get the hdmi cable 43 bucks with tax then i have to go to the comcast store and get this box if they have it. if not i have to wait for them to come back

what idiots....... wtfffffff im not running hdtv with 4 yr old component cable technology

ok i got the stupid new box but then i put in the hdmi cable and NO SIGNAL I CALL COMCAST I CALL SAMSUNG

also hate the fact that hdtv is so limited to only 20 channels on comcast. plus at certain times even those hd channels are not broadcast in hd wtf ..... only hbo and espn runs in hd all the time

dude, i got my box from comcast, took it home, bought an HDMI wire, plugged it and it worked. it wasnt that complicated. did you expect them to give you a free HDMI wire that can retail for 80 bucks? if you buy a civic does the dealer throw in a free set of pirellis? also, they dont control what channels choose to broadcast in HD. its not like the networks can just throw a switch or something.

Yeah Bling, like I told you, only certain networks are HD now, and even then, a lot of their content is upconverted.

came back home turned on tv it worked wtf??

went to radio shack for some stuff for my digital cam and they said directtv has more hd channels than comcast but said comcast claims they will have 150 hd channels by end of yr. which im sure ill get a few of those but of course most will be special channels like cinemax1-10 or something
