| Registered members do not see ads. Register or logon for a better view. Its 6:15am and i'm still awake! This is nuts, insomnia is a fucking BITCH and i cant sleep. 5 Tylenol simply sleep (at like 2am) and im hopefully just NOW starting to nod off a little. My internal clock is so messed up. Im the ONLY one on CJ right now, only one on CP as well with the exception of one lurker and some guests/ bots. Anyone else battling this problem? Any suggestions? Ive been told i should try ambien but i cant really go to a dr now, no insurance. Help!! Honestly, i dont really like sleeping till 3 or 4pm. This sucks. I need to get my ass down to FL already so i can stop stressing about all this shit!! See? The fact that im posting this stuff is proof enough that im finally losing my marbles. *lol* Like ive say in the past: APB on Jaclyn's marbles, if anyone has some information please contact her immediately!! Last seen...who the hell knows where. ;DReward for their safe return! Hint: :-* Thank you all, have a nice morning. Hopefully i will be snoozing whtn you guys read this. :crossing fingers:

| hahaha...what do you do for work? Do you work nights?? That could be a cause. Read a book or something...or how about some sleeping pills...I hate to say it but Tylenol always works for me LOL ![]() |

| I have had insomnia since I was a little kid and its mostly anxiety and stress induced...I bet your mind just wanders and thinks of countless things you have to do, should do, want to do, worries etc etc. I use to take tylenol pms religously and even vicodine. Thats just a temp solution that wears off...tried ambien, sinesta (sp?) and other prescrip. sleep aids...nothing worked and will only start to hurt you physically in the long run. The best thing I can say is ya just have to let the worries of the current and next day/week go and I find working out after or before work tires me just enough so that I can lay in bed and fall asleep gradually...I would suggest turning off all the lights/tv and having some sort of ambient noise such as a fan, heater or humidifier going. I have to get up at 6am and I usually fall asleep by 12:30-1:30 the latest. Going back 6 years ago 5am would be the time I would finally fall asleep. Hot decaf. tea helps too. |

| MegaJunkie | Well I have similar sleeping issues, work stresses me out and I can't sleep because I'm thinking of 49734589 things I need to do, the solution is simple.. Get up earlier, your body will be tired at night if you get up early, also work out and best of all, take just one small bowl hit and you are out. You don't even need to get stoned, it just calms the mind. Forget pills, weed is the cure... |

| You know nick, thats what im starting to think more and more. Honestly ive never been a fan of smoking, cigs or otherwise. Yes my mind goes in a thousand directions but since im not working i dont have a schedule to regulate me. I still haven't slept, Tylenol Simply Sleep isnt working and in all honesty i dont want to get on RX meds. Im naturally a night owl and now not having a specific time to wake up makes me even more nocturnal. The last project I worked on had me working 80+ hours a week, till 3-4am then back at work at 9:30am. Thats what started messing me up. Now that im leaving im going out on the weekends again and staying out till 7am, last 2 weekends in a row and im just not accostomed to that shit anymore. Nor do i really want it. This whole move is stressing me the fuck out and not letting me sleep! Add the freakish weather and boredome to that and its a fairly toxic combination. Man i cant wait to be in Fuckin FL. I never thought id be saying that any time soon but......whatever dood. I'll eat my words. As long as i can get a good nights sleep from it!

I have similar issues. I am hyperactive and a natural night owl, so when I have no forced schedule, I tend slide later and later like that. My short-term solution is just to take one night and stay up all night and all the next day. Do NOT go to sleep during the day. Get up one day whenever then stay up all night and all the next day, then by hte following evening, you should be able to hit the bed by midnight. No drugs, no alcohol, no caffeine.
