They have been leaving recordings on my voice mail asking to call back. Obviously there is no John that lives at my house. Anyways they call today and finally I answer the phone and the collector was asking for this John person. I told him there is no John that lives here and that they have been calling here for the past 2 months and I told them to stop calling. Then the collector starts yelling at me saying that 'they've only had this number for one week' and then I start talking to again and he yells "sir it's rude to interupt me while I'm talking"... blah blah blah.. I hung up the phone after telling him not to ever call here again. They will call here again no doubt thinking that I'm the debtor try to avoid them now. But what the hell? I'm trying to tell them that no one lives here by that name and they are not even going to take the time to listen to what I have to say before going off on me as if I'm the person they are trying to collect money from. That's fine idiots.. Continue to waste resources on your wild goose chase.... So to any bill colletors on here. (I used to be one back 16 years ago or so) please listen to the people that you call. You'll get a lot more info that way instead of trying to grill the person on the other line.

| Non Sufficit Orbis | Nowadays they have automated systems that tell you to "please hold for blah blah blah..." If they don't have the common courtesy to call me in person, they don't deserve my time.

| I was a bill collector for about 5 years, but I never saw how being mean made them pay any faster. I used to work for a shady sub prime credit card and if a little kid answered the phone they would tell them to put their parents on the phone, or they are gonna call the police and say that the child was alone.

| My name is listed as "S Williams" in the phone book so I get calls for Shantal, Simon, Sarah, etc, etc....I tell them to come pick up the money personally because I don't have money for a stamp. Fuckin' with them is great!

" wtf is "the next step" ? lol ![]() after a few days, they call back with the same message .. and so on and on .... |
