| CoolJunkie | i work in this industry, i am an adjuster for AIG, and this is huge right now being in this industry i can tell each and every one of u that 20-30% of the insurance premium you pay in this state is from pip fraud. these fuckers get into accidents with carloads of people then have a skeezy clinic SAY they are treating to collect the full 10k allowed by the insurer to each injured party then the cuts are made between the sleezy drs and the fraudulent patients. it is rampant in this state and particularly here in palm beach county where we are #1 in the country for these scams the state of Florida says about 1 billion dollars a year is paid out in this state to these bastards. that is alot of money and it is recouped by the insurance companies in each and every one of our premiums. then you have the people who dont even carry BI coverage and are out hurting folks with no coverage to pay for it this bill will make everyone in the state to have to carry 3rd party BI, liability coverage making whomever is at fault's company pay the bills of the parties they injured. you don't have to work in insurance to see that it is a better way. i would hope many of you would agree as it will be better for the law abiding citizens that pay for insurance and use it the right way, as well as eliminate the major element of injury fraud great topic to post mr saleen/barbarino ;D

| MegaJunkie | BTW, I just dumped 21st which is owned by you guys. They raised my rates 200 bucks for no reason, but progressive comes in even cheaper this time, so in 10 days, i'm switching.. Anywho, I think no fault is utter bs but from what I read it may not pass! WTF!! BTW, I told my dad who may need physical therapy, to tell the PT that he's not suing anyone, because the clinics are so filed with fakers the PT's treat them differently. |

| MegaJunkie | I pay with 21st right now 776 then want me to renew at 916, I'm ok, if you explain to me why then I'll pay the extra money, they gave me some load of crap about claims, and I asked them, how many claims do I have? They said zero! So I'm like fuck you, and now progressive with much much much better internet and customer service will only charge me:$720.13!!! woot! Geico wanted 1100, so Gieco and 21st can go fuck themselves. |

if u remember when u posted the thread on 21st century, i warned u they were teaser rates!!! look up the thread and check it out ![]() they got all these new policies because of teaser rates and then jacked them up, it is happens when ins co's venture into new markets, i did warn u though, heh as far as ur dad, that is a good idea, alot of clinics are tied in with the PI attorneys, although illegal it is hard to combat. thats how the circle works, and they make tons of money at our expense! also like i stated in that old thread, insurance premiums change all the time for different areas and risk groups. i always advise when one co is upping your rates for other people's mistakes to call around and switch, i would always stay wit a big company though as some of these scumbag co's are impossible to get anything out of. thing is the rates are strictly numbers, it doesn't matter if you had claims or not they are done on mass level, as the loss ratio of an area/group varies. although the people with claims get hti harder, we all pay

| MegaJunkie | I just bought the prog policy and yes you did warn me, but for 6 months it was great, but I'm saving even more money now. As I get older my shit keeps dropping. I use to pay double for no coverage just 2 years ago, now I have the 100/300 across the board for half the price. go figure.. |

If the other guy hurts you and he doesnt have insurance to cover it then you can sue the crap out of them (not that you will get anything) just for the fun of it. | |

(Then again I used to work for them and know how to get my way) ![]() RZO, you are in insurance? Did I know this? I work for Wells Fargo (used to be Acordia) in Boca. |
