I used to flip around when Peter Jennings & Dan Rather were the anchors, focusing mostly on Tom Brokaw's cast though. Now, it's NBC or nothing.

For world events on tv, I'm all about the BBC.

I'm not gonna get into how I feel about American news channels. You're definitely on the right track with BBC.

Yeh, I'm with you on the networks. Generally, I'm all over the place when it comes to finding news. From various websites, newspapers, magazines, tv, you name it!

Yes...I do. What's sad is the amount of news that goes unreported or heavily censored, Stateside.

True. It's even more sad that the general public don't even realize that. And every story is told with the reporters bias.

The general public is ignorant all around, IMO. Some networks really get me on a rip with their bias. Especially, when it's so blatant.

I have some American friends who have an average grasp on reality (very few of course) even they are hopelessly confused.

A daily ritual of mine is watching the 6:30 national news that I trap in my Tivo while I'm at the office, while I'm cooking dinner. I watch CBS out of some kind of habit, but wow it sucks since Katie Couric showed up. I miss Bob Schieffer. Couric's shows are turning more and more into feel-good pulp for the geriatric demographic. Nothing wrong with that but they're losing me.

Thanks for the poll and the thread, this is helpful for picking what to program my Tivo to record in the future.
